If you've removed the DPF (diesel particulate filter) from your Cummins, and running a RaceME, EFILIve, or H&S tuner, but haven't converted the EGR system from the truck, you're missing out. Besides the simple fact of just removing unneeded equipment from the vehicle once the exhaust is converted, your turbo will spool noticeable quicker by not requiring exhaust to create pressure in the unused EGR cooler prior to "lighting" the turbo. As an added bonus, one of the cooler block off plates is pre-tapped for easy installation of an EGT probe!
